Vlascovia Rios, PA knows the value of great health and strives to provide compassionate healthcare. She has made it a personal goal to empower patients to learn about their disease state, and then also encourage them to make healthy choices for themselves and their families. Rios is a firm believer that with strong faith and family by your side, anything is possible.

A native of Bolivia, Rios has made California her home since she was nine years old. After earning her undergraduate degree, Rios went on to work as a health educator at a public clinic and in public health. She enjoys bringing her dedication to healthcare to the team at Family First.

She, her husband, and their three children learn from each other daily, and continue to grow in their faith together.

Hobbies: Taking family trips, camping, staying busy with kids’ sports, and experimenting with any healthy baked good recipe that includes dark chocolate, almonds, and coconut

Elisa Martinez, PA finds great joy in providing quality healthcare, and is honored when people choose her to partner with them in their health journey. A native of Mexico, Martinez arrived in the United States in 1983, and quickly made her home in Modesto. Today, Modesto is still her home, as is the work she loves, and her three children, from whom she finds the most happiness.

Sonia Ramirez, LMFT

Sonia Ramirez, LMFT has found her passion in her life’s work of helping people providing mental health services. She grew up locally in the small town of Hughson, then settled in Visalia to raise her family. Now a foster parent, she hopes to adopt out of the foster care system and grow her family.

Her background includes being a clinician in Tulare County for Hispanic individuals with severe mental health diagnoses, where she provided individual therapy, case management, and facilitated groups for high risk teens, children ages 5-10, and adult Hispanic males with schizophrenia. Ramirez has also worked alongside agencies providing services to foster children and their families, Katie A team members, Child Protective Services, and biological and foster families in the reunification process.

It was her professional growth with San Joaquin Behavior Health that allowed her to transition to Family First Medical Care.

Education: B.A. in Human Services, M.S. in Psychology, M.S. in Marriage & Family Therapy

Hobbies: Cooking, spending time with family, and watching a good movie.

Sandra Centeno, LCSW feels beyond blessed to be a part of a medical company that focuses on patient care and providing quality services. She grew up in a small, local town, and always knew her passion was to serve others.

With over a decade of experience working with families, women, children, teens, and men, Centeno is always inspired by the strength in others during their difficult times, and feels privileged to support them through their journey.

She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
